To apply through our UWC national committee, you must meet the following criteria:
1. Age requirement
The exact age requirement for this application cycle has not yet been determined. We will update this section as soon as the official age range is confirmed.
2. Residency and nationality
Candidates applying through UWC Sudan must:
- Be a citizen of Sudan.
If you live in Sudan but do not hold Sudanese nationality, you should apply through the UWC National Committee of your country of citizenship.
3. Personal qualities and values
While academic excellence is important, UWC seeks students who exhibit:
- A strong commitment to UWC’s values, including intercultural understanding, mutual respect, and sustainability.
- A desire to make a positive impact in their communities.
The resilience and adaptability needed for an international and rigorous residential educational experience.
4. Language requirements
UWC schools and colleges primarily use English as the language of instruction. While fluency is not required at the time of application, applicants are advised to attain a basic proficiency in English and demonstrate a willingness to improve their language skills.
5. Accessibility
Applicants with disabilities who are self-sufficient in their daily needs are encouraged to apply. UWC Sudan is committed to diversity and inclusion in its selection process.
