Sudan is currently facing one of the most devastating humanitarian and educational crises in its history. The ongoing conflict has displaced millions, destroyed essential infrastructure, and brought formal education to a near standstill. Schools and universities have closed or been destroyed, internet access is unreliable or unavailable, and many students have lost years of learning. Some cannot access their transcripts, others never sat for final exams, and many high-achieving youths have been left without a path forward.
Despite these immense challenges, Sudanese youth continue to dream, persevere, and apply for opportunities to rebuild their futures. UWC provides a critical lifeline, offering not just education, but safety, dignity, and the tools to become compassionate changemakers.
